I am starting to have those winter blahs, where you just want it to hurry up and get warm already! I know it’s the shortest month, but February just seems to drag on and on. In an effort to appreciate these last days of winter, the man friend and I decided to go on an impromptu date last night. It’s always fun to turn a boring Tuesday evening into something special.
I find that every winter I choose to wear the same sweater and jeans day in and day out. I am trying not to do that this year. While this denim shirt from Joe Fresh is an everyday staple of mine, it got a makeover with the addition of leather pants and a faux fur vest. Playing with texture is one of the easiest ways to take your outfit from blah to pulled together and perfectly styled. It’s also one of the easiest ways to pull you out of that winter fashion rut!
